The space
Located on the third floor (no lift), our apartment is a much loved family property which has recently been refreshed (an ongoing project) and gives an equipped kitchen with dining space, which opens onto the living room with south facing views of the Fort du Telegraphe. Being located on the third floor and with 3 balconies it is not suitable for Infants - if in doubt please contact me prior to making a booking.

The price includes bed linen and towels though you are welcome to use your own - please advise at time of booking so we can let our cleaner know your preference.

As well as easy access from Chambery, Geneva, Turin and Grenoble you will find Lyon Airport 1hr 45 mins away

Want to travel on the train? The apartment is 200 metres away from the SNCF station giving easy links up to Modane (free resort shuttle buses with the Haute Maurienne Vanoise pass, run from there) or towards Chambery and Lyon for onward access to Paris.

Quick access to major ski resorts - The Orelle/Val Thorens/Les 3 Valleys (Méribel, Courchevel etc) gondola is 6 km away, Valmenier 13 km away, Valloire 19 km away.
Valfrejus, La Norma and Les Sybelles are a 30-minute drive away, with Val Cenis, Aussois, Bessans and Bonneval sur Arc a bit further.

Fancy a trip into Italy, then we are only 20 minutes from the Frejus tunnel allowing you to take a day trip to Bardonnechia.

At the heart of the world's largest cycling area and at the foot of The Maurienne's great passes of Cols du Télégraphe (9 km) and Galibier (30 km), Lacets de Montvernier, Cols de la Croix de Fer, du Glandon, de la Madeleine, du Grand Cucheron, du Mont Cenis, de l 'Iseran, du Chaussy, de Beau Plan, du Sapey to name a few.

Saint Michel is in the privileged location between Savoie and Hautes-Alpes, on the famous Route des Grandes Alpes, a prestigious tourist route for motorbikes, cyclists and enthusiastic car drivers.

Go hiking in The Vanoise National Park, the Thabor/Galibier, Brequin, Les Encombres, Bissorte Dam

For a cultural visit take in the aluminium museum, museum of the sea, Forts of Esseillon and annual festivals
